Why MFR instead of Massage
While massage often focuses on relaxing muscles, improving circulation, and easing surface - level tension, Myofascial Release works deeper - targeting the connective tissue ( fascia) that surrounds and supports every muscle, bone, and organ in the body.
Fascia can become tight or restricted due to stress, injury, unprocessed emotions, or, poor posture, leading to pain and limited movement. MFR gently stretches and releases these restrictions, restoring natural mobility and alignment.
In short, massage soothes the muscles, while MFR addresses the underlying web of fascia that influences long term comfort and function.

You're in the Right Hands
Meet Stephanie Wilson,
A Licensed Massage Therapist in Colorado and have been dedicated to John F. Barnes Myofascial Release®️ (JFB-MFR®️) for over eight years. My training includes MFR I & II, Fascial Pelvis, Unwinding, Rebounding, Cervical Thoracic, Fascial Cranium, Quantum Leap, and a Skill Enhancement Seminar at the renowned Therapy on the Rocks Clinic in Sedona, AZ.
I take a whole-body approach, understanding that fascial restrictions in one area can impact the entire system. My own healing from chronic back pain began at my very first MFR course — an experience that transformed not only my career, but my life.
This work is more than a technique for me — it’s a lifestyle, and I’m passionate about sharing its profound benefits.
